Rare, multi-faceted real estate professional whose areas of expertise stretch far beyond the industry’s standard. After graduating with a degree in architecture + urban design in May 2005, Chris began his career as an architect with a focus on large-scale commercial & institutional site design, building design, and renovations. He pivoted to a career in real estate appraising, leasing, and sales in 2010.
With 12 combined years of real estate industry experience, Class A Appraisal Services opened its doors in November 2017, initially, serving Charleston, SC area lenders with unbiased and accurate appraisals. We’ve since sharpened our focus on residential property owners, prospective buyers, and attorneys who need appraisals, and floorplan drawings/measurements/area calculations. Chris Akers, owner of Class A Appraisals is a certified general real estate appraiser and a licensed real estate broker in both South Carolina and Georgia.
